Issue Position: Job and Career Development

Issue Position

Government doesn't create jobs, but it can foster an environment of free enterprise that attracts businesses, investment, and opportunities for all Missourians.

We must remove the impediments to free enterprise and entrepreneurship. We must reduce burdensome and unnecessary regulation stifling productivity, take on aggressive unions, eliminate frivolous job-killing lawsuits, and create an environment that encourages investment in our state by both new and existing businesses. We must cut taxes for small business instead of giving away over half a billion taxpayer dollars to wealthy special interests every year.

My Mission

*As a manufacturer and business owner, I will proudly recruit other business owners and CEOs from around the country to invest in Missouri and hire our workers.

*Enact tort reform to stop frivolous job-killing lawsuits.

*Labor reforms that protect the rights of workers to choose to join a union and end the requirement that costs local and state government millions of dollars requiring them to only contract with unions.

*Eliminate burdensome and unnecessary regulations that handicap business.
Reduce taxes on small business by putting an end to corporate tax handouts.
